Grid connections manager £60,000 - £90,000. Full time, fully remote, occasional travel to client site.

Up to 15% bonus of base salary.

They are seeking a network engineer with our customers to integrate large scale PV, wind, CHP and EHV grids.

Responsibilities:

- Managing the grid connection process with DNOs and IDNOs is at the heart of this role.

- Assisting with tech enabled grid control systems and exploring innovative solutions.

- Strong experience in design of LV and HV electricity networks (private DNOS) in WINDEBUT, IPSA and others.

- Analyse electricity networks for connections applications, up to and including self-determination of point of connection for LV and 11kV connections.

- Create and maintain relationships internally and with customers, DNOs, IDNOs and ICP drawings and application to DNOs and IDNOs for connection offers.

- Assist the ICP tender process.

Key criteria:

- Candidates can demonstrate compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and ENA, DNO and IDNO standards and ensure quality standards are met.

Required experience:

- Vast experience in LV and HV electrical distribution network design.

- NERS design approval experience with DNO, IDNO ICP.

- Experience using WinDebut, IPSA, ELEK cable, HV, SafeGrid

- Self starter attitude, not requiring direct supervision.

- Extensive knowledge of the connections processes and associated standards (CCCMS, ECCR etc)

This role is focused on LV and HV distribution network design rather than building electrical installations subject to BS7671.
